About Andrew

I first began competing as an Amateur boxer at age 15 in 2005. Since then, boxing has always been my passion. I train for it, watch it, or think about it 24/7.

My Amateur career gave me so many great opportunities and experiences that I will always remember. I travelled to over 30 different countries representing Australia at 20 international events, including 3 World Championships and 2 Commonwealth Games.

The proudest moment for me was winning the Gold Medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and I turned professional after this win.

I had a very successful Amateur career, winning 7 State and 7 National Titles, so most people are shocked when they hear that I actually lost my first 7 fights.

To me, that was nothing more than a lesson that I had to work harder and sacrifice more than anyone else to improve and get to the top. After those first losses, I didn’t lose another fight in Australia for the next 5 years.

Those lessons will never leave me and, today, I still train harder than any other fighter and I know this is what will take me to the very top.

On a personal level, I previously worked as a Personal Trainer but the demands of my training program just made it impossible to fit clients in anymore and I am now a full-time professional boxer.

In 2017, I married my partner Chelsea who supports me every step of the way.

As for the future, I have only ONE goal…. to be World Champion and NOTHING will stop me getting there.
